Outreach for Tax Season

ADOR Supports Local Domestic Violence Shelters Through Donation Drive
ADOR employees donated thousands of items to local domestic violence shelters and charities; A New Leaf, Arizona Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence, and Emerge! Center Against Domestic Abuse.

Southern Regional Office Gives Back to Local Charity
Over 400 school items were donated to Avaiva Children’s Services. Items including basic school supplies, hygienic and clothes.
Department of Revenue employees from its Collections District teamed up as part of a friendly food drive competition. In total, close to 1,000 pounds of food were donated to the Phoenix Rescue Mission, including more than 470 pounds of non-perishable items by one team - the Collections Special Operations Unit. The ADOR employees from the winning team were recognized with the presentation of a trophy.
Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR) Director Carlton Woodruff and Deputy Director Dr. Grant Nülle acknowledged two long-term agency employees for being recognized by the State Bar of Arizona’s Tax Law Section the past two years.
Vivian Chang was the recipient of the 2018 Outstanding Public Service Employee Award while Ernest Powell recently received the 2019 award from the State Bar of Arizona.
The award recognizes a member of local government (state, county, or city) for distinguished work in serving taxpayers and the tax profession community.
