KERR - NOTICE OF HEARING ON FINAL SATISFACTION OF JUDGMENT

The Arizona Tax Court, Honorable Dean Fink, will hold an evidentiary hearing on April 26, 2010, at 1:30 p.m. in Courtroom 412, East Court Building, Superior Court of the State of Arizona, In and For Maricopa County, 101  West Jefferson, Phoenix, Arizona 85003 in the matter of Susan Moran, et al. v. Gale L. Garriott, et al., Case Nos. TX 97-00119, TX 97-00131, TX 97-00150, Superior Court of the State of Arizona, In and For the County of Maricopa.  The purpose of the evidentiary hearing is to take evidence concerning the performance of the terms of the Settlement Agreement approved by the Arizona Tax Court on August 4, 2006 and to consider the parties' request for judicial approval of a final satisfaction of judgment.  The Settlement Agreement involves processing of certain claims to recover Arizona income taxes paid by federal employees on mandatory contributions to federal retirement programs.  A copy of the Notice of Settlement and Settlement Hearings previously sent to claimants is available by clicking here.  Persons wishing to be heard at the evidentiary hearing on April 26, 2010 must seek permission of the Arizona Tax Court.  Questions concerning the hearing may be directed to counsel for the Arizona Department of Revenue, William Richards, at the following number:  (602) 542-7604.
