Transaction Privilege Tax License Related Fee Increases Effective 6/15/2010
If you have a Transaction Privilege Tax License or will be applying for one, changes to the law have been enacted that may affect you. These changes include:
Mandatory payment of a renewal fee of $40 for all Transaction Privilege Tax licenses with an issue date of 7/1/2009 or before. Bills for the renewal fee will be mailed to all effected licensees. Fees are payable within 2 weeks of the billing date.
An increase to $40 in fees for new Transaction Privilege Tax licenses, license updates, and for new or additional business locations. These increases are effective June 15, 2010 and will remain in effect through 6/30/2011.
