E-File for Software Developers
The Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR) encourages Software Developers to provide software in support of formatting tax returns according to ADOR electronic return specifications. Software may be designed for use by Electronic Return Originators (EROs), reporting agents or transmitters.
Arizona MeF Letter of Intent
The Arizona Modernized e-File (MeF) system is web-based and allows electronic filing of individual income tax, fiduciary income tax, corporate income tax and partnership returns through the IRS MeF Program. The system uses the widely accepted Extensible Markup Language (XML) format. MeF also enables automatic, on-demand data transmissions and confirmations to the Electronic Return Originators (EROs), notifying them that returns have been received, accepted or rejected.

TPTFile Memorandum of Understanding
The TPTFile system is an integrated internet-based system for the electronic filing platform, using the widely accepted XML format. TPTFile also enables automatic, on-demand data transmissions and confirmations with the ability to retrieve messages confirming that returns have been received, accepted or rejected.
