Customers Encouraged to Use Online and Over-the-Phone Services

In light of COVID-19, the Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR) will temporarily modify current services in an effort to protect the health and safety of its customers and employees while continuing to provide information and support to Arizona taxpayers.

The Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR) is reminding state taxpayers wanting to claim tax credits on their 2019 individual income taxes for donations to qualifying charitable organizations, certified school tuition organizations (STOs) and public schools that they have until April 15 to make these donations.

The Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR) has announced it has moved the deadline for filing and paying state income taxes from April 15 to July 15, 2020 following direction today by Governor Doug Ducey.

This is consistent with Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin’s announcement that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has moved the deadline for 2019 federal tax returns to July 15, 2020.

The announcement by ADOR includes individual, corporate and fiduciary tax returns.

The Arizona Department of Revenue’s (ADOR) Unclaimed Property program has identified more than $900 million that belonged to more than 1.1 million people with last known addresses in Maricopa County.

PHOENIX – Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced a State Grand Jury indicted Connie Cozzolino, owner of Connie’s Tax Services, her son Richard Luttrull, and Jennifer Lohss aka Jennifer Drziewicki, on charges of Fraudulent Schemes and Artifices, Illegal Control of an Enterprise, 24 counts of Preparing False Tax Returns and Forgery for Allegedly Preparing Arizona Personal Income Tax Returns that contained fraudulent information for tax years 2012-2018.
