The Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR) reminds transaction privilege tax filers that monthly and quarterly returns are due.  Filing before the deadline is highly encouraged in the event assistance is required.

Phoenix, AZ—Connie Cozzolino, tax preparer and owner of Connie’s Tax Services, was sentenced today to 30 days in jail and ordered to pay restitution for economic loss to all victims, which will be determined at a later date, and a fine totaling $16,500.

Phoenix, AZ—Construction Contractors - The Annual Bond Exemption will expire on July 31. The Arizona Department of Revenue is no longer issuing paper Annual Bond Exemption Certificates to in-state contractors in good standing. Instead, the Department provides an electronic listing of qualified exempt contractors to each city and town on August 1.
