Phoenix, AZ—If you paid your tax liability by paper check, and the Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR) has yet to cash your paper check payment, please note these helpful suggestions. Please allow ADOR 8-10 weeks to process the check before calling or emailing the Department. Before contacting ADOR regarding an uncashed paper payment, check with your financial institution to verify if the check has cleared your account.

Taxpayers can file now and schedule payments up until the deadline.

The Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR) reminds transaction privilege tax filers that monthly returns are due.  Filing before the deadline is highly encouraged in the event assistance is required.

Phoenix, AZ—The Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR) wants to remind you that tax returns are due on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, which is one month away. 

ADOR highly recommends that taxpayers file electronically and use direct deposit. Taxpayers receive their refund up to six times faster when choosing e-file and direct deposit. It is  more secure, more efficient, and significantly faster than paper returns.
