to Add to Calendar 2019-03-01 16:00:00 2019-03-01 23:30:00 Notice of Property Management Company Meeting The meeting will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. Pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the general public that Arizona Department of Revenue (department) will hold a public hearing on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. The department has determined that certain property management companies (PMC) may not have complied with transaction privilege tax (TPT) obligations on behalf of their clients because of various misunderstandings or misapplications of Arizona Revised Statutes Title 42.  The nature of the possible misunderstandings or misapplications of Title 42 relates to the filing process under the new electronic consolidated filing system created for PMCs and implemented by the department on January 1, 2018. The department will hold a public hearing to allow affected PMCs to address the department regarding the types of misunderstandings or misapplications of the laws and the filing process. Request to Speak forms will be available to those who want to address the department. The meeting will be held in the Auditorium on the 1st Floor of the Industrial Commission of Arizona, 800 West Washington St, Phoenix, Arizona. All attendees are required to park on the parking garage roof.  Handicap parking is available in the lot north of the building.  Sign in begins at 8:15 a.m. Copies of educational brochures will be available at the hearing, on the department’s website and in the lobby of the Revenue Building located at 1600 West Monroe St., Phoenix, Arizona 85007.  Department staff will be available to assist with licensing and answer questions regarding the process after the hearing.
