1. Impose an additional 2.50% bed tax, effective January 01, 2007.
2. On March 15, 2022, the mayor and town council passed and adopted Ordinance No. 143, which increases the transaction privilege tax rate from two and one-half percent (2.50%) to three and one-half percent (3.50%). This change has an effective date of July 1, 2022.
3. On April 19, 2022, the mayor and town council passed and adopted Ordinance No. 144, which increases the transaction privilege tax rate from two and one-half percent (2.50%) to three and one-half percent (3.50%) on Food for Home Consumption. This section was inadvertantly left out of Ordinance 143, due to a scrivener's error This change has an effective date of July 1, 2022.
