ADOR Resources for Arizona Taxpayers

The Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR) offers several options to meet tax obligations and obtain information from the comfort of a person's home.

Website

Individual Income Tax

ADOR encourages our customers to use electronic file and pay options. Taxpayers can view a list of software providers certified to submit electronically filed returns with the department.

The Arizona Free File Alliance offers a free file program to Arizona taxpayers who meet certain criteria.

The AZTaxes.gov website is equipped for paying state individual income taxes under the “Make a Payment” link.

Taxpayers needing more time to get their taxes done can file for an automatic six-month extension by filling out Form 204. Taxpayers who filed an extension with the Internal Revenue Service do not have to do so with the state, but need to check the Filing Under Extension box 82F on their Arizona tax returns when they file.

Collections

Taxpayers can pay their liability in full or make partial payments at www.AZTaxes.gov. If they need more time to make a payment, taxpayers can request a monthly installment plan by filling out Form 140-IA*. Collections can be reached at (602) 542-5551 or (520) 628-6409 in Southern Arizona.

Corporate Income Tax

Corporations needing guidance can visit our Corporate Income Tax page at https://azdor.gov/businesses-arizona/corporate-income-tax.

Corporations that plan to prepare their own income tax returns and electronically file should check our Approved Vendors List as vendors get verified and approved to e-file returns.

Transaction Privilege Tax

Businesses can register, file and pay transaction privilege tax on AZTaxes.gov. Tips and online resources for filing and paying online can be accessed at https://azdor.gov/transaction-privilege-tax/quick-reference.

Unclaimed Property

ADOR holds unclaimed property as a custodian for the rightful owner. Customers entitled to assets they have forgotten or not aware of them can do a free search and make a claim by going to www.azdor.gov and click on the Unclaimed Property tab.

Live Chat

ADOR Live Chat is available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. to answer inquiries for general questions and offers navigational guides in real-time.

Phone

Customers seeking information on particular private taxpayer matters or confidential account information can speak to our Customer Care at (602) 255-3381 or 800-352-4090.
