ADOR is aware that some small business income taxpayers received a billing notice even though their overpayment from the individual income tax return is larger than the tax due from the small business income return. Please be advised that the Department is working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Deadline coming up for taxpayers who received tax filing extension

The Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR) reminds individual income and corporate taxpayers who received a tax filing extension and have not yet filed that the deadline to submit returns is October 15.

More than 211,000 individuals and 62,000 corporations received a six month extension to file for the 2017 tax year.

ADOR advises individual income taxpayers to double check their returns to ensure there is no missing information and recommends filing electronically, which is more secure, accurate and faster than paper returns.
