TPT License Renewal: The Arizona Department of Revenue is advising businesses to renew their transaction privilege tax (TPT) licenses, which are due January 1, 2023, and penalties will be assessed for all renewals after January 31.

Arizona Department of Revenue to Auction Unclaimed Property Items

PHOENIX--The Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR) will hold an online public auction of unclaimed property items from abandoned safe deposit boxes beginning Wednesday, January 25, 2023. Items for sale will include jewelry, coins, currency, and a variety of collectible items that have not been claimed by their owners after many years.

Revised Withholding Form A-4 Effective January 31

Phoenix, AZ—The Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR) has updated the Employee’s Arizona Withholding Election form (Arizona Form A-4) to reflect Arizona's seven lower individual income tax rates. The new Form A-4 also retained both the zero withholding rate option and the line for additional Arizona withholding.

Phoenix, AZ—The Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR) is reminding employers they are required each year to submit to ADOR copies of all the W-2s issued to their employees, and the 1099s (except 1099-S) that include Arizona withholding, along with the annual Arizona Withholding Reconciliation Return – Form A1-R and Arizona Annual Payment Withholding Tax Return - Form A1-APR.
