TPT License Renewal: The Arizona Department of Revenue is advising businesses to renew their transaction privilege tax (TPT) licenses, which are due January 1, 2023, and penalties will be assessed for all renewals after January 31.

A change has been made in the 2012 Arizona Form 140-series instructions to allow tax practitioners to also use their PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) when completing tax forms. Instructions have been revised on all the Arizona Form 140-series.

Arizona Department of Revenue Electronic Tax Season Opens January 30, 2013

The Arizona Department of Revenue will piggyback with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) announcement regarding the start of the 2013 electronic filing season. Arizona electronic income tax returns are processed and accepted through the IRS first. This means it will not be possible to e-file a state return for Arizona until January 30th because the IRS portal will not open until then.
