TPT License Renewal: The Arizona Department of Revenue is advising businesses to renew their transaction privilege tax (TPT) licenses, which are due January 1, 2023, and penalties will be assessed for all renewals after January 31.

Notice For Licensed Tobacco Resellers (LTN 12-01)

On July 6, 2012, President Obama signed into law H.R. 4348, a bill that amends the federal Internal Revenue Code to include, within the definition of a "manufacturer of tobacco products," anyone who "for commercial purposes makes available for consumer use...a machine capable of making cigarettes, cigars, or other tobacco products."

Tax Corrections Act Signed

On February 28, 2012, Governor Jan Brewer signed SB1045 Tax corrections act; 2012 (Laws 2012, Chapter 3).  With the signing of this bill it required DOR to revise Form 304-2 for 2010 and 2011 and Forms 345 and 345-2 for 2011.  This legislation will become law 90 days following the close of the 2012 legislative session.  

The revised forms and instructions have been posted on the Forms page under Credits.
