The Arizona Department of Revenue’s (ADOR) Unclaimed Property program has identified more than $900 million that belonged to more than 1.1 million people with last known addresses in Maricopa County.
Individual income tax filing season in the state provides potential benefits for Arizonans whose income level is below minimum threshold limits and not required to file an individual income tax return or are seniors who own a residence.
Both may still be eligible for state tax benefits by submitting two forms available through the Arizona Department of Revenue - Form 140ET Credit for Increased Excise Taxes or Form 140PTC Property Tax Refund Claim.
E-file is a cooperative tax filing program that makes it possible for taxpayers to file both federal and state individual income tax returns electronically. Electronic filing, paying and using direct deposit for a refund comes with many benefits.

PHOENIX – Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced a State Grand Jury indicted Connie Cozzolino, owner of Connie’s Tax Services, her son Richard Luttrull, and Jennifer Lohss aka Jennifer Drziewicki, on charges of Fraudulent Schemes and Artifices, Illegal Control of an Enterprise, 24 counts of Preparing False Tax Returns and Forgery for Allegedly Preparing Arizona Personal Income Tax Returns that contained fraudulent information for tax years 2012-2018.

The Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR) is reminding businesses that have not renewed their 2020 Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT) License to complete the licensing renewal process.
Renewals were due Jan. 1, 2020. Prompt compliance online can save both time and money.
Businesses still owing a renewal fee should act now to avoid further penalties and delays receiving their 2020 Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT) License.
Taxpayers receiving Form 1099-G, which serves as a confirmation of the previous year’s state tax refund, can now go online to access and print the form.
To be eligible for a Form 1099-G, a taxpayer must have itemized on their federal return and received an Arizona income tax refund.
